This Las Vegas Enrolled Agents class was great, I completed level 2 and now I’m looking forward for Level 3 in Orlando later this year.

Seeing old friends from all over the USA was awesome, and winning the $100 gift card from one of the vendors was amazing.

Enjoying the buffets the drinks and the pool after class was great, and getting upgraded using the old $20 trick to a suite in one of the nicest Las Vegas hotels was just incredible.

OREM Social Networking event

We recently performed our first Social Networking event at our OREM offices, it was fun.

 Our clients had the chance to talk to other clients about their careers, their businesses, their hopes and their dreams.

Great ideas, very entertaining conversation, appetizers, drinks, laughter and new businesses too.

We are getting ready to offer our new Notary on site, Mobile Notary services too.

Relaxed May in Vegas

April is over, May id in full swing and we are done with Tax Season, I still get some late clients here and there but it is pretty much done.

It is time for our year vacation, time to relax.

The perfect time to celebrate my birthday and to celebrate Robert’s passing his California Real Estate test, his California Real Estate application was submitted this week, time to relax.

May brought new challenges for us at the OREM Organization. The OREM Real Estate Corporation is operational and ready to business.

I’m writing this lines on the road on my way to Las Vegas, I can’t wait to jump into the pool, hit the buffets and the bars, let the fun begins.

Aprils best practices after tax season

As April comes to an end along with the Tax Season, it is best to put in place the best practices and close the tax year, get ready for the next one by reconciling your accounts, preparing your inconsistencies fix etc.

March in Tax Season

March is here and it means it is Tax season’s last month.

The first two months are usually the busiest months with clients rushing to get their income taxes done for various reasons. From my own experience the clients that rush to file their tax returns are individuals that need the refund.

 While the clients that wait are the ones that have a more structured and organized financial life and they tend to take their own time to file their personal and business tax returns.

I always will suggest my clients and everybody else of the best use of a tax return refund is to pay debt, credit cards, auto loans, student loans and mortgages. If you have no debt at all, then go ahead and save that refund for a rainy day, and then enjoy a portion of that tax refund.

It always make me sad to see a clients messy financial situation, some individuals can’t help, and they just but keep on getting on more and more debt and spending on every single penny that lands on their hands, including the tax refund. It saddens me even more when that messy tax payer have children.

In the bright side of March we have our loyal clients for over the past few years, but this year with our new office location in Culver City we are getting the locals and bystanders too, new clients and their tax situation always get us excited.
